The Truro Recreation and Beach Department is implementing a Paddle Craft Rack and Watercraft Storage for Corn Hill Beach and Great Hollow Beach in May 2025. The selection process will be a lottery.

Corn Hill Beach

• CLOSED EFFECTIVE 5/29/25: Access for Off-Road Vehicles (ORV) at Corn Hill Beach has been closed due to shorebird activity. The entrance is currently locked to prevent vehicles from entering the ORV corridor.
• Paddle craft racks will be placed in the parking lot of Corn Hill Beach and near the beach entrance.
• Designated area to store watercraft; catamaran type sailing crafts, on the beach.

Great Hollow Beach

• Paddle craft racks will be placed in the parking lot of Great Hollow Beach. 

Fees

• Paddle Craft Rack Space Fee: $35 (annually)
• Watercraft Storage Fee: $45 (annually)

Process

1. Applicants apply online for either a Paddle Craft Rack space or a Watercraft Storage space by clicking HERE.
2. Online applications accepted until May 1.
3. Applicants are placed into a random pool for a lottery.
4. Lottery winners are notified
