The Truro Board of Library Trustees exists by virtue of the provisions of Chapter 78, Sections 10-13 and 21 of the Massachusetts General Laws, and the Town of Truro Charter. The trustees have overseen the town libraries since 1894 when voters established a the Truro Public Library. The board meets the third week of each month.
