Ballston Beach - Shark Sighting  

At approximately 12 pm on 8/19/16, the Truro Beach Department received multiple reports from beachgoers of a shark feeding on a seal at Ballston Beach approximately 700 yards out.  Signs were placed at the entrance and staff alerted beach patrons that Ballston Beach was closed for swimming until 1:30 pm.
